Did you know that the foot has 28 bones? It is mainly divided into three regions (hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot) and two columns (medial and lateral columns). The ankle joint is known as the talocrural joint formed by the talus, calcaneus and navicular bone along with a number of tendons and ligaments.
